The Cinque Terre
Ruth says: The Cinque Terre are five little former fishing villages that now produce wine ( hence the picture of the grapes) , that are set along stunning coastline above crystal clear water. There is a path that links all five little villages with a walk that takes a few hours. We spent a few days based in Levanto, a picturesque little town just along the coast from the Cinque Terre, doing different bits of the walk, swimming in the gorgeous little rocky coves and going to the beaches. The place seemed to be the number one spot on the American tourist trail, but despite that it was one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. Bob was rather intrigued by the these intererstingly labelled beers that we found in one of the villages.
